There is so much work that goes into creating a keynote, finding
connections, continuous work on a website, and blogging!
I get very overwhelmed at times… brings me to tears!!
At the same time, I am greatly enjoying helping and inspiring people
by performing my one woman show, A Distant Memory,
about my recovery from a Traumatic Brain Injury.
I love it more than anything!! MY MISSION IS TO HELP!!

I met with Jane LaPointe, who is a knowledgeable friend on non
profits. In the near future I see the mission statement of the JField
Foundation coming true. I want to inspire, Inform, and Support people
dealing with TBI.

I am continuing to restructure my website/blog… I want to create a
place for people to go to get information/help to the harrowing
journey of a traumatic brain injury.
I want to inspire patients to never give up… there is always
something to do and place to turn!

I am facing the hard decision of how to move forward in my life…
I have just had a tumultuous period of time in a relationship with a
man… all I want to feel is safe and secure in my life. I want to
perform my one woman show: A Distant Memory, to many audiences,
providing a message of hope and inspiration… if I could just find
that hope and inspiration within myself again!?!?

brain injury!!
Within the next week I am going to rename my blog: Field Trip…
documenting the long, and sometimes painful journey my mother and I
have taken.

‘A Distant Memory’
Two of Lane’s classes will be in the audience, partly because the admiration is mutual. “She says I’m a role model. She’s really a role model for me,” Lane said.
“I have trouble with words sometimes. Writing is difficult. If something is hard for you, it would be 10 times as hard for me,” she said. “My whole purpose for this show is to help people, to be an inspiration.”
Now a poet, painter and an acting student in California, Field said she got the idea for her show after seeing the one-man show, “Time Flies When You’re Alive” with Paul Linke.
Writing helped her with her emotional recovery from her crash.
“I needed to have a purpose,” Field said. “What I really was subconsciously trying to find was the feeling I had being on a horse.
“Instead of training my horse, I now was training myself.”
Thursday’s show is a new version of her first one.
“It’s like putting my whole life out there,” Field said. “A lot of people would be scared to do that. I don’t know why.”
